It's not Franksey tonight but it might as well be. Helanius and Tonev cost millions apparently.

Because it's not Franksey tonight and I thought it might be a little different. I was wrong.

Sometimes you can't help but listen. I know I do.
Villa piss me off but I still go to every home game.

Fair enough, its a long time since I listened to the phone ins on a regular basis - probably the old brmb days of George Gavin and Tom Ross which weren't bad - also used to enjoy butler in his pomp but  don't bother much listening nowadays.

Butler was funny. I won the Home win, Away win, Or draw competition many years ago. Bloody hell, what a claim to fame.

I was about to say the same.

Whilst not costing millions they do have a point about Helenius - why doesn't he get more starts.

The two Premier League teams in their region both have 14 points from 11 games. Guess which one had a reference to fighting relegation sandwiched into every reference Wanksy made to them post-match?

I had an Albion fan just tell me that if they play anything like on the 25th, that they will stroll it and that I should look at the table.

Er...

I managed to listen to all of four minutes, mind you the ultra pessimistic Villa fan on at the time didn't help with his 'are there 3 teams worse than us' talk.

Some depressed bright spark said on Tom Ross' show "the game had nil nil written all over it and if we hadn't scored twice it would have been nil nil".

Genius.

I put WM on when I get in the car (after home games) .I  used to listen to Tom Ross, but don't even know what station/ frequency he broadcasts on now.I agree WM seem to have an anti Villa agenda, but for all their faults , if they both stopped broadcasting (WM &  BRMB ) the alternative would be BBC & Talksport.

I would rather listen to Villa fans with a splattering of suicidal bluenose's, whinginging Black Country shites and some ex midlands football players, than some West Country/Welsh/Cockney/Irish/Brummie gloryhunters.

WM are just being opportunistic and taking cheap shots while the ground is fertile. The know that it won't last forever and we'll be dominating the local landscape before too long. They are a tabloid appeasing their limited customer base. You should pity them for their ignorance.

We couldn't get a decent enough signal for Tom Ross so we reluctantly put Franksey on. He was on for about a minute before we turned him off.
