Villa U21 1-0 Norwich U21 - GOAL - 41 mins: Lovely counter-attacking football from Villa, who have taken the lead through Jack Grealish. The move started with skipper Daniel Johnson hitting an inch-perfect cross-field pass to Callum Robinson on the left. Robinson cut inside and whipped in a cross. Grealish stretched to reach it and bundle the ball into the net.

Sounds like Grealish and Robinson are playing well together, I have very high hopes for that pair, both look like they'll fit in really well to the style of football we're playing as well (Robinson will be superb in the Gabby role if he keeps developing and I think Grealish will be a very good centre mid).

Aiden Grant in goal.

O'brien, Suliman, Abdo, Green.

Sellars, Strain.

Not gonna make much on shirt printing if he makes the first team.

Grealish was superb in the second half, constantly taking on and beating defenders.

You wondwe whether he should be going on loan or hanging around more with the first-team squad.

Jack is close to the first team squad as it stands.  He is still an U18 player so it is very unlikely he will be loaned out.

He is a rare talent and I really hope he makes the first team and establishes himself.

Jordan Graham (currently injured) and Callum Robinson are outstanding prospects too.

I watched them play together a couple of years ago for the U16s and it was frightening.  A real shame that Danny Crowley has gone. He should be a top player too.

Agreed.

I love the way that Robinson has worked to improve his game.

Any idea when Jordan Graham is due back?

Jack Grealish just tweeted - Academy side won 3-2 at Bolton and he scored a hat-trick. He's some talent that kid!

He'll make his league debut for us this season, I'm sure of it, he's got a great future ahead of him if he keeps focused.

That's my opinion, too.

Then again, I thought the Moore brothers might fire to the Preeemiership title...

Grealish does look a great prospect.

Am sure I read somewhere that he's the great grandson of Billy Garraty.

Any idea when Jordan Graham is due back?

He's just been given the all clear by his Dr to start full training again.

excellent news, hope he can get back in track.

I'd like to see the youngsters playing the same shape as the first team, Graham, Grealish and Robinson as a front 3 sounds exciting.
