Did anyone go to the PL forum?
« on: August 07, 2013, 09:00:16 AM »
Just wondering if anyone made the forum with PL on Monday?

Any comments of interest?

I had to go over to Villa Talk to read about it.

I was hoping it might be up on AVTV as some point, pretty sure the last one was.

Did anyone understand what he was saying? Joking aside, will it be aired on the radio anywhere?

I went.

It wasn't recorded for AVTV as far as I am aware? Tom Ross also asked that it wasn't recorded on phones etc at the beginning.

I missed some of the second half when most of the questions would have been asked as we had to leave because of the later start.

PL was very impressive, and honest where he could be. Although some of the answers he gave were the same as the standard mantra he gives in press interviews. He made it clear that he loves being at Villa.

What I've read elsewhere about the evening is fairly accurate. The Kiyotake question was interesting in that he was asked about "a player at FCN" and Lambert himself offered the name.

A good article by Adz that is.

This bit in particular was very interesting:

Quote
Lambert stated his biggest regret last season was the home leg of our League Cup semi final versus Bradford City. He said if he could go back and do it differently he would, hinting that something happened at half time and he wasn’t pleased with how he handled it, what exactly that was remained unsaid.

I wonder what that was all about....

No. He threw on every player we had that had ever crossed the half way line.
