No Siegriest, Burke, Grealish, or Donacien in the squad officially then.
good, they should be awarded when the players get into a proper matchday squad
May be that they are planning on loaning them out to get some experience of first team action!

No number 23. Are we saving a place for David Beckham?

I wonder if Benteke prefers number 20 or if this is a very mild punishment?

See original article, he asked to keep 20

They got number 8 wrong. This is what it should be.

Ah grand. I'm much happier with that.

Its good to see Helenius, Weimann and Gabby at 9, 10 & 11, a tad more traditional for strikers.

I've always thought of number eight as being a striker and ten midfield - it's the legacy of Messrs Little, Shaw & Cowans.

Now I'm drooling - well dreaming!  As some else said, shame about KEA having no 8.

That was why I was always number 8 when playing, Little, then Shaw and later on Platt. Before he became a spoonfaced misery who forgets who he owes for his career.

I am actually gutted about Charlie. I felt he was starting to come good towards the end of last season.

Retired for one season? The correct tribute. The Bomb Squad are obvious by way of numbers....

I've felt N'Zogs days have been numbered. His good spell last season didn't last long and as much as he did okay, we looked even flimsier in midfield when he played. When Sylla made it a mid-3 we looked so much better in the middle. In all honesty, Zoggy has only ever performed consistently for a half season at Wigan. That's it. Like Ireland, talent to burn but something mentally just holds him back. We'll get rid on a cut price in Jan to be honest and rightly so.

I guess some of the youngsters like Grealish, Johnson, Robinson etc may get their chance throughout the season. They don't need to be included in the 25 registered, so we don't have to announce their numbers just yet. As and when they make the match day.

Kinda. Saving it for an attacking midfielder to be signed, hopefully.
