Gustavo Bartelt. He comes with the John Gregory seal of (dis)approval.

Lets be nice to Spurs. Lets admire their ambition compare to more successful teams such as Huddersfield.

David Villa. Oh, hold on... Erm...

David Guest?

David Blaine, as the hidden striker.

And he's good in the box.

You are on the right track. He might be carrying a bit more timber but as we were told he's spurs and he knows he is

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really hope they don't sign Zigic.  Doing a cracking job where he is, slowly bleeding them dry.

Well I think you're all being very catty. For a franchise as big as Spurs its got to be Messi. Let's be realistic here.

I don't think Messi could handle the goldfish bowl pressure of being at a big club like Spurs.

Mr. Levy would wait until 31 August so that he could sign Messi for a 'fair' price. £100m today, down to £14m + add ons by 31 August. Just you watch......

Can i just say, with regards to the thresd title. Fuck right off spurs. Be nice ? Not a bloody chance. UTV

Brilliant idea for a thread.

Unfortunately all the best suggestions are taken, but I'm sure Kenwynne Jones has had enough of being in and out of the team at Stoke.

They must be kicking themselves at the thought that the Benteke farrago has meant that the likes of Carroll, Kone or Anelka have slipped under their radar.

Bet they'll end up with Torres.  In fact, I might even put money on it.

It must be hard for them to concentrate on signing any player, what with them about to lose their manager.

Maybe best stick with Adebayor. I reckon he'll be proper fired up for the new season, watching them courting Benteke for weeks.

Players will flo ck to want to join them knowing they're only interested because they couldn't afford the one they wanted.
