How to go about things.....
« on: July 19, 2013, 08:47:48 PM »
Yet again, when all around are losing their heads, the club keeps theirs firmly in place.
All these very, very promising youngsters, one by one signed up and sorted, including the big man!

No fuss.
No bother
No histrionics.

I just want to say, that as a club and doing things the right way, and with the Acorns thing on the kids shirts.....

OUR CLUB IS FUCKING ACE!!!!!

Here here. I do think just generally, we're following the formula that other clubs in the Premiership need to start taking. Running in a financially efficient manner. Developing young players, and giving a chance to young home grown players.
If other clubs follow suit, our national side will also benefit greatly. The Germans showed it can be done, and they're league seems to have overtaken us.
The England side is in a right mess. But until we change how the youngsters are brought up, and have a top flight that will actually embrace them and bring them through, we won't get anywhere. Belgiums side is looking very tasty indeed. In 2-3 years they could be one of the top sides in the world. It can be done. 4-5 years ago the Belgian side was complete bobbins.

Very restrained, Legion. Perhaps it's the joy of the end of term overwhelming you!

While this isn't a feeling I've always had about our club, at the present time I am loving being a Villa fan.

Well done Villa.

I've not seen that before, very moving.

To echo the opening post, we are without doubt the finest Football Club in the land.

Jesus, that just put lump in my throat and a few tears in my eyes..
What a gentleman, player. How lucky are we as a club to have Stan helping our youngsters.

I just hope and pray that we can at some point start to look at the champions league, cups as a possibility.
We deserve it, great ground, great supporters, great away shirts  :o, it surely is our time...
