Any news on (Villa) games being moved for Sky?
« on: July 06, 2013, 03:59:09 AM »
Does anyone know when Sky announce which games will be shown live and, more importantly, moved?

Newcastle away will be moved to a kick-off time before the first train from New Street arrives, as usual.

I reckon a lot of our games will be on sky this season, basically Villa = goals, both for and against, plus we were becoming increasingly good to watch going forward.

I can see the opening game at Arsenal being moved to Sunday or Monday or the early Saturday game. We could be top of the league by 230pm😉

I hope it's on Sky on the Saturday. We've all got free Sky that day.

Think Arsenal and Liverpool games are certs to be moved tbh.

It's funny with Arsenal, we seem to play them more often than not at 3pm down at the Emirates but the VP game is always moved.

Please no Monday night games....really can't stand them (Sunderland expected).

I've got a feeling for 5.15pm on Saturday.  Hope so.  Took a gamble and brought a very cheap all day return from Manchester.

The bt contract gives them 10 midweek games and 28 Saturday games with a kick off time of 12-45 , unlike espn who used to show games at 5-15pm.

Sky usually show a football league game on Saturday evenings and  will probably use the 2 slots for games on a Sunday and maybe Monday nights  so hopefully we might not have any Saturday late kick offs.

I much prefer Saturday late kick-offs to early kick-offs or crappy Sunday/Monday games.

Sky are taking over the Saturday evening games and calling the program 'Saturday Night Football'.

I bet they paid some gel-headed media consultant millions to come up with that name
