Villa have now spent @ £10m on 5 young, talented, up and coming players. WHU spent £15.5m on a replica horse.

Add Gardner to this list and that's a big change of personnel. I wonder if this was Lambert's budget and he has to generate anything else himself.

They won't all come off, but if 50% do then he'll have done well.

Me, probably because its much harder to produce a YouTube video of a left back that can impress in the same way as one for a striker or attacking midfielder. Also coming from a recently relegated team (he was at Mallorca wasn't he?) is going to dampen enthusiasm somewhat. Will be happy to eat my words mind. I trust lambert with signings like no other villa manager in all my years supporting the villa.

Probably because it is has been our weakest position and we was hoping for a player we know and not by someone who we no nothing about ?

Just perusing the official website and came across this paragraph on his signing. (Copied word for word)
Quote
Luna arrived at Villa's training ground to agree terms, complete a medical and sign a **** deal.
We must really have cut back on wages!

Feels good to have a beardy on board.  There should always be one at the Villa.  Welcome Antonio!
