As usual at Wigan, some great stuff played over the Tannoy yesterday. Highlights for me were California Soul, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell and Dean Parrish, I’m on my Way. They were both after the game. Didn’t get to the ground until after kick off so not sure what was played before the game. At other games I’ve heard them play Frank Wilson’s Do I Love You, Frankie Valli’s The Night, Gloria Jones, Tainted Love and many, many more

Whoever is playing those records has wonderful taste and I hope Wigan are back in the premier league very soon if only for that reason.

And Shay Given was on our train back to London last night. Still wearing his Villa tracky

And I saw Sid and McNaught in a pub in Wigan before the game.

The music was also fantastic in our last pub before the train home - The Swan by the station. Great atmosphere with dancing & singing to some great tunes. Was gutted to have to leave for our train!

That's bit young to be fighting outside a pub.
