The Turks didn't migrate to Anatolia until roughly 800 years after St George was martyred.
so he was an Anatolian? and why was he called St George? Why not St Typicalanatolianame?

and oh by the way the offer is great.....honest.

I make an unbeatable, no strings attached offer and this is the thanks I get. A history lesson.

I'm so confident I gave up smoking today.
Good luck. I hope you succeed and spend the money saved on Villa.

Thank you Aftab.

By my calculations my annual saving would probably pay for a fair few season tickets and counselling for Mr Kelly's Traumatic Pub Stress Syndrome.

This managed to be mentioned in the WM phone in on Friday night by a Wolves fan as an example of how much better Villa look after their fans than Wolves do. I fear the dingle concerned may not understand the concept of 'fanzine'

As it was Charles Ross, editor of A Load of Bull for twenty-odd years, I think he does.

I had no idea who it was, but I remain completely baffled by how he could make the comparison he did. If Villa were coming out with statements of intent about reduced price season tickets if we go down, or if he'd offered free subscriptions to his fanzine, that may form a basis to his gripe with Wolves about their ST prices.
He may have a case that Wolves should be looking after their fans better, but as it is, your offer is completely irrelevant to his debate.

He was saying that supporters of another club could do it better than the Wolves.

He was saying that the H&V have offered money back on subscriptions should we go down, but that the silence from Wolves is deafening now that their 'early bird' season tickets have turned out to be for League One. I certainly heard that as a daft comparison, but ho hum.
