Ian ormondroyd against Everton when we beat them 6-2?

Nah, Sticks didn't score in that game, Olney and Platt got two each, Sid got one and I can't remember the other scorer.

Did he also do it at the end of 76/77 against the Albion?

No he definitely scored one at the Witton End that night.

Agreed - I think it was 2-0 at half time too so no Holte hat trick.

I think dcdavecollett is right re the Andy Gray Ipswich hat trick in 1976 - he was uttelry unplayable that day.

I always remember the first of the three, how he seemed to hang in the air above John Wark before heading it in.

I remember Peter Withes third against Victoria Guimaraes being in front of the Holte End but genuinely can't remember the other two. had a feeling we were only 1-0 at half time though.

Glad you mentioned that as it was special for me. The first time I ever saw a Villa player get a hat-trick.

Dean Saunders v Swindon - two penalties were definitely in front of the Holte but can't remember the first without checking.

Edit: Just checked the 1st was at the Witton/North Stand end
