Well it was just in case anyone didn't know or had forgotten. Like I had until they mentioned it on the news.

I don't think Dave would have been too happy when I turned up just before KO to start selling the fanzine.

Unless he turned up an hour late himself :)

We forgot the weekend of the 94 League Cup final, and as we were driving to London from Carlisle it meant doing about 120 down the M6 through Cumbria.

For Stateside H&V'ers, please ignore this thread because you've already done your Spring Forwarding. Unless you're in Arizona, in which case the rest of the country just moves around you.

Right, checked iPhone is on London setting, checked it's fully charged and alarm set.  Have to wake son up at 8.15 am as he has to be at villa shop at 9.30 am.

Hoping to get back to sleep for an hour before driving myself down (or mad).

Thanks for the reminder PWS.

I didn't bother to change mine last time. The problem now is that I'll have to remember that my clocks are no longer an hour fast.

The weather man even displayed a clock graphic with the clock hand being wound forward an hour. Thanks weather man, I'd have been stuffed without your help.

An hour all in one go is just too much. We should use the system proposed by this man, the great great grandfather of Chris Martin from Coldplay.

Quote
William Willett (10 August 1856 – 4 March 1915), was an English builder and a tireless promoter of British Summer Time.

Using his own financial resources, in 1907 William published a pamphlet "The Waste of Daylight" In it he proposed that the clocks should be advanced by 80 minutes in four incremental steps during April and reversed the same way during September. The evenings would then remain light for longer, increasing daylight recreation time and also saving ₤2.5 million in lighting costs. He suggested that the clocks should be advanced by 20 minutes at a time at 2 am on successive Sundays in April and be retarded by the same amount on Sundays in September.

Retarded...there's a verb you don't see anymore.
