What to do??
« on: March 16, 2013, 08:50:44 PM »
OK so I arrive at the ground at 2.55 as usual.
Walking to my seat, I am stopped by a steward who says that a complaint has been made against me and they need to warn me!
I asked what the problem was  and was told that I tend to get 'carried away'.
I asked if I swear, they said no. I asked if I was racially or sexually abusive, they said no!
So what have i done wrong??
I am told that the steward in question has  no problem with me.
I stand up and encourage our young boys, I never abuse them or the manager.
I am advised that they know who I am because of how I look (big, bald & ugly!!)
Everyone who sits around me are fine, they have a laugh and take the piss 'cos I always moan about the ref!!
What am I to do? stay where I am or move next season??
The only person to have a dig at me was against Man City, when I told Milner that he had finally switched to the other side! Funnily enough I have never seen this bloke before and he wasn't there today!
So what can I do? No language, no abuse on any grounds, I support our young boys and encourage them for 90 mins but  I am still threatened with being kicked out.
So should I move?? But why should I when I have done  nothing wrong??
Help me guys!!!

I'm not one to judge, but are you one of those ****** that jumps up and insists that everybody jumps and cheers on your demand, then gets mardy when nobody complies?

Seen a few of them down there.

I'd ask why and what the complaint was about via the club.

Contact John Handley at the club and ask what's happened.

No mate I am not!, never have been and never will be either!
Just an ordinary bloke who supports the team, never abuse anyone who wants to keep quiet.
Get sick of those who think that they are bigger than anyone else just because they sing a lot, we all contribute.

Please stop calling other Villa fans ****** and especially stop with the username antics. I'm fed up of warning you about it.

I don't see a problem here but some fans can be annoying by being repetitive with the same shout all through the match.

Really, football should be one of the places where you're allowed to be annoying.as it was always supposed to be a safe place to let out our frustrations. There are people by me that piss me off but I'll tell them face to face as part if the whole thing of football being a place whwpre you say what you think. They might have a go back, & it all be a bit worrying, but that was how I always thought it was. If footballis a place which excludes people who get a bit carried away, then I'm not really sure what the point of it is.

Annoying thought that can be, if that's a reason to get stewards warning people, then football really has broken new levels of sterility.

If you're a big, bald bloke it could just be mistaken identity? There are about 20,000 of them at most of our games!

Football stadiums are getting more sanitised by the week. It'll be like Wimbledon tennis in the not too distant future.

It's the crate that he brings to every match - really annoys the people behind him.
