A host of exciting activities have been announced for the Acorns Fun Day ahead of Villa's clash against Queen's Park Rangers.

As part of the Acorns Day celebrations at the game on Saturday March 16, the club are staging another family fun day in the Villa Park Indoor Academy building.

The latest fun day begins at 12.30pm and will run right up until kick-off.

Among the activities announced are a Nintendo Wii bowling tent, a surf board simulator, Villa photo booth, gladiator duel, adult and junior assault course, bungee eliminator run, hook a duck, milk the cow and football-related games.

Donations to Acorns may be required for each activity.

Wristbands will be available for unlimited access to most events.

It is a brilliant way for all the family to get involved in the Acorns Day festivities before settling down to watch Villa's important Barclays Premier League clash against QPR.

Hook a duck - the only time i ever won a prize at the fair was on that - always a goldfish!
This is a good idea for families to get along and have some fun before the main course.

It is nice of Karren Brady to do something for Acorns.

I see the programme is £4 tomorrow with a £1 going to Acorns.

I think charging £4 is going to put people off buying it. £3 and quid going towards Acorns might have been better.

Not keen on that idea. It turns donating to charity into almost an obligatory payment. Things like that tend to turn me against making any donations.

Well done to the club for today... to be honest, what was set up in the indoor centre could be done every game to keep the little 'uns entertained. My 7 year old loved it.
Maybe a few of the players who aren't involved in the game could be in there too having pictures and signing autographs with the kids rather than learning it with the corporates
