White socks?
« on: February 13, 2013, 11:44:27 AM »
Did anyone notice the white socks for the Everton game? With blue hoops similar to the home socks.

Gabby wearing them here:

Any idea where I can buy these? Can't see them on the official site anywhere.

Never seen them on sale before and I doubt they will be. I'd imagine the best chance to get some will be at the end of season one day sale.

Might be wrong, of course.

It's a shame because I would be all over a pair for 5-a-side. Yet another example of the poor financial management at our dear old club? Just think, if everyone on here bought a pair they'd make at least enough to slip Benteke a tenner to stay another season!

Does anyone agree with me that if we wear white shorts (as tradional kit is) / or blue shorts we should have claret socks, with 2 thin blue hoops at the top - a la 60s ? - which is what i grew up with.

"So, it's still all to play for ?"
"Do you wanna bet against us ?"

Haha I know, disgraceful behaviour. If it wasn't for the balti pies I don't think I'd ever come to Villa Park again.

Blue socks for me. The late 70s/early 80s Umbro kit was as good as it got.

White socks must only be worn with burgundy stay-press and black loafers. A Harrington completes the look too.
