I'm amazed. I go past VP on the Aston Expressway at 7 every morning and every light seems to be on.

In the shit up to our neck and lets come out with what the supporters really want to hear, were carbon positive but goal difference negative, well done all.

No doubt the Chinese and Indian industrial giants will be sleeping a bit easier in their beds tonight knowing that all the crap their plants are belching out on a daily basis making all the cheap goods we all consume is being off set by our great football club.  Gee thanks for that Paul I feel so much better and the pain of relegation will be eased throughout the summer every time I think about this.

They say

"The plan is to cut energy use, reduce waste and minimise greenhouse gas emissions in the stadium"

I presume then that this means telling the players to run less during matches and jump even less at corners and set pieces, execute Stephen Ireland and tell us all to stop farting during the game whilst at the same time removing all the toilet pans in the gents thus preventing anybody from taking a dump?

This was announced on the AVFC Official Bookface page earlier today & was met with the vitriol & ridicule it deserved.
Just what kind of marketing cretin thinks any supporter is interested in this in our current predicament?  Oh yes Paul Faulkner.  Yes well done Villa, I really mean that but save it for some sort of end of year report on sustainabilty.

Personally I suggest Mr Faulkner gets his arse out on the streets of Aston on Sunday & asks fans whether they are interested in carbon neutralness or a couple of defenders?  Maybe he'd get in touch with the fans & understand what they would really like to be marketed at them, there's a thought.

That said a few hours later the marketing genius's removed this joyous news.

It is good news and reflects well on the club, but it isn't what most fans see as our top priority.

If we could get back to being goals neutral or even goals positive that would be lovely.

Yes, let's not tell anyone about any of the good things that are happening because our results are shit.

Fair point Dummond, but most fans only hear from the Ginger Prince about stuff they're not bothered about let's be honest.  Where was he last week?  The silence from his office was defeaning then.

It is good to see Aston Villa is doing their bit for environment. I wonder do they use renewenable energy for power ie solar energy with solar panels. Well Done Paul. But this still doesn't solve our football problems.
