Will You Be Renewing?
« on: February 01, 2013, 07:13:52 AM »
A simple question here, but if you are a current season ticket holder, will you be renewing for next season in the Championship (MML)?

If no or not sure, what is that based on? The fact we will be in the MML? Depends on the price? Will you be buying your first season ticket?

With the accounts due soon it will be good to take a snapshot of how many season ticket holders we will lose and whether they will pick the odd game or stop going altogether. It might aid in working out the financial implications of our relegation.

Would a kind Mod add a poll with some options such as yes/no/not sure? Thank you.

(MML =Mickey Mouse League)

I really can't be arsed... but then I'd hate people to think I was like a Blose/Olbiyun/Weasels fan who only watched the team in the Premier League so probably, yes.

Would look to go to loads of aways finances allowing.

Of course I will.

It's not over yet either. we footy fans always think we know best but I'm clinging on to the hope that our Cambridge graduates and Champions League winner know more than me and it all will come good in the end!

I will have a different description of them if it doesn't.

I am not sure. I always do normally, after lots of agonising but might just do the aways if we are down.

Come renewal time ; probably . But this will be the closest I have ever come to not renewing .

3 years ago we were looking forward to walking out and COMPETING against Manchester United at Wembley .

Now we're looking forward to Brentford away - cos there's a pub on every corner of the ground.

Have we been relegated then?

I know what I will do but it doesn't pay to look too keen. We will expect prices to go down next year but they won't of course.

50 years watching the Villa - 45 as a season ticket holder - categorically NO whether they stay up or not - have just about had enough of football in general with the overinflated salaries and admission prices it does not justify me spending £1000+ for the shit that is served up. My passion for the Villa has now dropped to the level of the players who pull on the famous Claret and Blue shirt - non existent. I knew for certain that it was the end when I came out of Villa Park after the Bradford game and I had no emotion or upset. In times gone by I was gutted if we lost any game never mind one of such importance. Villa has always been a large part of my life (Wedding Vows - until death or Villa do us part lol!) and I have travelled many miles and spent £1000's of pounds to away matches from top league to Div 3 but to quote from a famous song - It's time to say goodbye. (Proud History - Bleak future) Thank you Mr Lerner for losing interest it will save me lots of money in the future as I become part of your cost-cutting exercise. Rant over.
