Nobody thinks bigger than me. I still think with the right management plan, we can make the champions league in the future :)

I reckon there's about 5 games we've got little chance in (Home to Citeh, and Chelsea, away to Man Yoo, Arse, Everton)  about 3 where I'd hope for at least a draw if we can play for 90 minutes (Home Liverpool, away Norwich and Sterk), and about 5, maybe 6 that are could win, should win, must win - home Fulham, QPR, West Ham, maybe Sunderland
Away Reading, Wigan.

I think if we don't win at least 4 of those last listed games, we're toast, or we're depending on three of Wigan, Reading, QPR, and Saints to be equally as or even more shit than we are.  It doesn't leave much margin for error.

Problem is we're giving teams two goals a game so it's hard to see where many wins are going to come from.

As we have only won 4 all season I just dont see why we would suddenly start to win 5 or 6 games in the few that we have left unless we have an influx of fresh [GOOD] players and or a new manger who can generate a possitive effect

At least in the Championship we'll be taken seriously as contenders for something.....then again.  I just can't contemplate the notion of having to wait until smug Linekar has finished rambling at midnight to have a hope of seeing us being introduced by Manish and Cnut Claridge.

In direct response to the OP, 38 points would keep us up I feel. I just find it hard to believe we'll get there without at least one new signing.

How do we escape?

Our midfield is inexplicably held hostage in a warehouse with just MacGyver, The A Team, a big van, welders masks for everybody, a small but potent chemical lab and some big bits of metal just sitting around.

When the kidnappers go on their lunchbreak, Bannan spots some weapons...

I have a feeling that we are going to go and win at Everton at the weekend, and beat West Ham. Then lose another 6-7 on the spin, and go down bottom.

Our only hope if there was some sort of Italian style match fixing scandle and three teams were relegated for it. Unfortunately after looking through the league, we're probably the only team who is so bad that question marks of match fixing would be levelled at us.

Someone should mock that up with Lerner's face and hang it from the Holte End.

I think when we play Wigan on the last day our performance will be sadly reminiscent of when Newcastle came to be relegated by us.  No tactics or organisation from a useless manager, and no spirit or fight from the players.

...compounded by Whelan and Martinez sitting there smugly

That's all assuming we'll even win another game.

I wouldn't back us to beat a team containing Stephen Hawking, Heather McCartney, Boxing Helena and Davros.

It's all conjecture and blind hope. God knows what we should predict as performances at best have been erratic and at worst an abomination.  I just hope somehow the management get the team playing as looking like they can win because at the moment I can't see us winning another game.

We should just refuse to go down. Fold our arms like 5-year olds, shake our heads and refuse to accept that we're no longer in the Premier League. Ignore the championship fixture list next season and just send our first team, dressed in full kit ( with Premier League badges still on the arms) to wait outside randomly chosen Premier League grounds every other week and ask for a game.

We could draw up our own fixtures on here in June.

Can we not have Fulham away in August though, I'm on holiday

Brilliant!
