It is possible but the thoughts of us needing a win at Wigan fill me with dread. This team needs to pull its socks up.

A result at Everton and I might start to believe...

I honestly wouldn't be suprised if we fail to win another game this season while Lambert remains in charge. I mean if we can't even beat (let alone lose to) relegation rivals at home, who are we going to beat?

We should just refuse to go down. Fold our arms like 5-year olds, shake our heads and refuse to accept that we're no longer in the Premier League. Ignore the championship fixture list next season and just send our first team, dressed in full kit ( with Premier League badges still on the arms) to wait outside randomly chosen Premier League grounds every other week and ask for a game.

We could draw up our own fixtures on here in June.

Can we not have Fulham away in August though, I'm on holiday

I agree it's all about those three home games against QPR, Fulham and Sunderland. I thought we'd need 9 pts from those three plus Newcastle.

Clearly now there's not much daylight left.

If you offered me the option of winning at Wigan would guarantee our survival I'd bite your hand off. I think we'll be down well before then.

Knowing our luck we would indeed be 20 feet short of the woods.

I can see Villa doing something bizarre, like beating Arsenal or Chelsea. However, there'll be enough cock-ups to cancel out the unexpected bonus points.

Therefore, I can't see any more than 15 points.

The question is; is are Wigan, QPR and Reading capable of being a bit worse or are any of Norwich, Fulham and Southampton capable of being quite a bit worse ?

I can't have this we won't win another game rubbish. Since the Xmas massacre we've headed into the 2 games in the dying minutes ahead and didn't deserve to lose against Newcastle and Southampton. By the law of averages one game will go our way, whether we can get enough to stay up with this bunch of players is very much debatable though.
