I don't think Randy Lerner had any plans yet, but he is open to offer to a suitable person. Need to be Man City/Chelsea type owner before consider selling.

There are a number of clubs currently above us in the table that don't have billionaire owners.  I guess it would take a fair bit of money to buy the club, but I don't see why we need another billionaire when other clubs seemingly manage fine without one.

He's a moron in business, so I would guess he'd flog us for a small bag of magic beans.

I would just rather have a more traditional ownership. Tottenham are the model for us.
Tottenham's owner is worth about three times Randy's worth (financially speaking). I'm not sure they are any more 'traditionally' owned than we are. They're just better at it.

Always helps to have a hands on owner who lives nearby - levy is a vey astute man and drives a hard bagain- no flies on him.

Joe Lewis owns spurs, not Levy. And he lives in West Indies or something.
And after selling the Browns and considering the finance he has access to, Randy probably is worth about the same.

No question Spurs are better run though.

Agree with that, Maz. Levy is very shrewd and always seems to get the best deal for Spuds. But they also have a huge advantage in terms of income from ticket sales. That alone is worth a quality new player every season.

The pull of London, is always a factor too.
