villa on US tv
« on: January 29, 2013, 11:34:38 PM »
Does anyone know if it's possible to watch the Championship on TV ? I've got something ridiculous like 800 channels on my cable box but I've never managed to find a lower league game to watch (not looked that hard though...)

Can we please ban all talk of The Championship and show some fight!  Fourteen games left comrades.  We can lift ourselves out of this.

That would close down most of the threads on this board.

I get it on my fox/beIn package off Direct TV. Unlike the PL though its just one match a week. So we wont be watching Villa games next season. Sorry mate.

Our relegation means that our overseas following will go down (its hard to gain new fans if they never see you play).

The only mild positive is my family will see more of me on the weekend and I will be less angry , so they will be happy about that :)

Can't imagine you're going to see much of the Villa on television if they go down, live or replay. You would probably have better luck trying to stream it online, and even then it won't be easy. There's no TV deals in the Ship.

they do broadcast one live saturday 3pm championship game a week overseas, obviously not every country picks up the rights because the big draw is the premier league at the same time...

nbc recently secured the premier league rights, so maybe fox will pick up the championship to fill their schedule?
