At last we can relax..
« on: January 27, 2013, 07:07:31 PM »
Morocco have been knocked out the African cup of nations, so we don't need to buy a midfielder now KEA is available...

Well this is how Randy will see it anyway. >:(

If Morocco getting knocked out means Bannan doesn't get in the team then great!

Apart from the first 4-5 games when I had great hopes of him, KEA has been shite sadly and a Delph-KEA combo is horrible.

KEA for 3m and low wages or Diame on a free or higher wages last summer hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Honestly KEA, Delph, Bannan, Ireland, Westwood, Holman, Herd etc, I can't honestly recall a set of worst midfield options we've had at the club in the last 15 years. Says it all when a lad we signed from Crewe is our best midfielder.

This is the sympton of our problems as you can get away with a shite defence if your midfield is creating stuff for the forwards, we saw this in 10/11.

Whatever 3 we put out, it's just not good enough.

Totally agree with this.

I would keep hold of Warnock and put him in midfield with Westwood. Can't be much worse than what we have right now.

Given the shit we are in and the apparent lack of any new faces coming in KEA returning early at least gives us another option in midfield. And at least he can tackle unlike Bannan or Ireland!

I was wondering where that jacket that I wear for 70's retro fancy dress parties had gone.

What I'd give for Gary Gardner, even Craig Gardner.

May have done him some good getting away from suicide central. He's obviously a decent player who's finding it hard to adjust to the PL so i wouldn't write him off yet.

Kea was benched for Morroco though right? Didnt even come on as a sub? I mean I am glad (I dont want injuries) but also curious why. Is he not rated for the national team?
