I do feel a bit sorry for Lambert, I'm willing to bet he's not been given the money he's been promised

Have mentioned elsewhere that I was told this by a mate who knows Culverhouses sister at end of December, but I thought he was taking the p. Seems like it may be correct. That said, I will never defend Lambert after his tactics in the last 35 minutes against Bradford, was so embarrassed watching that

My only hope is he knows how to take a corner, and puts on an impromptu training session.

Maybe Randy's noticed that man to man marking doesn't seem to be working, so is going to suggest the zonal approach.

agreed, I also think Lambert's been well and truly shafted by Lerner.  Doesn't mean he hasn't made mistakes but I reckon Lerner has seriously gone back on any spending promises.

It's clear in my mind anyway that MON had similar or just saw what a bunch of fuckwits they were so walked. And you could hardly blame him, would you want to work for such a bunch of incompetent fools?

Can't say the quality of his signings so far has particularly impressed me, particularly in defence. Everything Millwall did came down our left again.

In that case he could resign and im sure mons lawyer  would play the constructive dismissal card - as long as he goes i dont really care how it happens.

I don't buy the Lerner has withdrawn funds thing. I reckon he has been too stubborn to spend this winter so far. In fact, I am sure. Past history shows Lerner if needed will back the manager, the wage bill is much lower than it was, and we are in the shit.

The net spend since O'Neill left has been a couple of million or so.

Even when he bought Bent in January, it was using the profits from Milner the previous summer.

I don't believe for a minute that Lambert has been told he can spend x million but prefers to stick it out with things as they are.

The club is now self sufficient, well, I say "sufficient"...

No worries, I realised that but I think that it is strange for another meeting and so soon.

Perhaps Randy 's bringing some money over so that they can try and do some 'cash only' deals before Friday!

Perhaps he might sack Lambert after the Newcastle defeat? (I predict we'll lose)

Right at the end of the transfer window.  Figures.

We're not being told the truth.

We're not being told ANYTHING!!! Got to the point where I'd settle for a little lie, just to tide me over

I know Paul Lambert can't organise a defence but is he also incapable of using a phone?

Or have Flybe offered us some special deal on Airmiles... fly 100,000 miles, get a free centre-half?

Lambert said a while ago that he had targets lined up and was looking to strengthen in January. He was clearly promised funding and now it has been withdrawn.
