Another 40 million in tv money next season and we'd easily be inside the top 20.

How much TV money do you get in the Chumpionship?

Parachute payments are staggered over four years. I think the first two are 12 million then it is reduced by at least half for the remaining 2 years. That's how it is now but will go up aswell with the tv money next season.

Just looking at those deloitte figures, when Newcastle went down they're income was reduced by £37 million the next season.

So if we go down, assume we will lost a similar percentage plus the extra money from the tv deal and it's likely to be a loss of something like £75-85 million less than if we we're in the premier league

Yes, we've been relegated from that as well.

The parachute payments are tied to the TV deal so it'd be closer to £60-65m

There must be some mistake. The "Pride of the Midlands" don't appear anywhere in this flawed report

Well if we get relegated all the money we've 'saved' this transfer window will pale into insignificance next to what we'll lose not being in the Premier League next year.
