Whoever you choose odds are you will be calling for his sacking by Xmas.
If Lerner keeps making a mess of things? Probably

I am very sure we will if the new guy delivers the following:

West Ham 1-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 1-3 Everton
Southampton 4-1 Aston Villa
Tottenham 2-0 Aston Villa
Fulham 1-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 2-3 Man Utd
Man City 5-0 Aston Villa
Chelsea 8-0 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 0-4 Tottenham
Aston Villa 0-3 Wigan
Bradford 3-1 Aston Villa
Aston Villa 0-1 Southampton

Yes. True. Because LErner will probably be his usual inept self and appoint someone who again fails.

Doesn't really matter while Randy is still at the helm. He has been slowly sucking the life out of the club for the past 3 years and doesn't look like he knows or wants to do anything about it.

I dont think lerner is a bad chairman, put a lot of money and investment into the club, its the managerial appointment that seem to have been completely wrong...

Lerner was a fan favourite as he seemed to split opinion... however on the last day of the season we were singing PL's claret and blue army so maybe that is the indicator randy uses to appoint?

A manager who has tactical awareness would be a start.

I wouldn't choose any of the above. None of them will be able to deal with the mess we are in, they wouldn't have the experience necessary. We need someone with experience. We need someone with experience to help choose our next manager. Get Graham Taylor in to help with choosing the candidates.
I don't want to loose Lambert yet, but if we don't turn it around very soon this club is heading to the Championship. The players need to learn that there is a second half to every match and playing well in fits and starts is killing us.

Also, none of the above would take the job if they had any sense.

He is, but I wouldn't want him managing us and I wouldn't reckon he'd want to manage us at this stage in his life.

Our problems are fundamental and go beyond new managers.

If the Invisible man sacks Lambert we will be back to square one within a year (that's if we stay up).

Oh, and if he did sack Lambert you can be sure it will be after the transfer window closes and it will be somebody who will need to get to know the players (right at the time we need to be scrapping for points), and it will be somebody unsuited to a championship promotion race should the worst happen.

I have zero confidence in the regime running avfc.
