Unfortunately we appear to be a plaything that Richie Rich has got bored of, or is too stupid to work out how to fix.  And I think we are stuck with him.

tonight was the hope that we wer'nt that bad. this could be the start of something special, i keep clinging to the hope. but then i realize that someone is taking advantage of me,my emotions, my love for villa, the football club that i have brainwashed my son to love. now i realize that my money is all that is needed of me. proud history, bright future, acorns, etc. its all good. but half way through the season i'm told we must spend within our means. ok. i could'nt afford a season ticket for me and my son, but you came out and told me how good it would be, you were on the news everyday. but now you have gone very quiet, telling me how one of the biggest clubs in the world can only afford to pay championship wage.I will always love villa, but i will not be taken for a mug.VTID.

He cannot have seriously watched that match and thought "yep, everything's on track, our current financial gamble is the right one." Honestly, he has to cough up or sell up. It's unacceptable.

We still have to find a suitable buyer to take over from Randy Lerner.

Those who test the water with subliminal messages and propaganda, get the full on message now. Lerner must go!

I am starting to detest Lerner and Faulkner.

I hate seeing people laugh at us. I can't believe how rotten things must be within the regime.

The guy is standing by watching as our club falls to pieces.

If he wants to stay in New York then he needs to appoint clued up people over here, because between him and Faulkner, they are wrecking this club.

If he can have watched that tonight and gave any doubt whatsoever that we need to sign some quality, proven players QUICKLY then he's out of his mind.

If this was happening with McLeish still in place, I'd have no sympathy. However, he got rid and appointed one of two well regarded, up-and-coming young managers (Rodgers being the other) who we were mostly happy with. He backed Lambert's plan and judgment about what players he wanted and ponied up yet more cash. His sin here has been to trust the manager to, erm, manage which is entirely reasonable. Sadly that's not working. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't be thrilled about the prospect of either relegation under this manager or throwing more compo into a failed manager's pocket with the probability of getting relegated under a replacement anyway. I just cannot blame him for turning off the money tap and deciding to stick rather than twist. In his position I'd probably do the same and I'm Villa born and bred.

There are better owners out there. But there are many more worse ones too.

Randy for gods sake just fuck off before you do damage that will take a generation to heal.  Lambert looks out of his depth but then I get the feeling he didn't know what he was walking into.
Randy is a clueless invisible owner who should just sell up and go away, I am gutted because he fooled me into believing in him. More fool me.

Mods can lock this now, I have got it off my chest...

Your wish is my command. Please feel free to drop by again when you have something worthwhile to add to the debate.

Hmm, my locking skills appear to have temporarily abandoned me. Please feel free to imagine that I have done the needful with this thread and contribute no further. Thanks!

Oh well...
I thought that after my rant I did add to the debate.
Does anyone know what Randy has in mind for wage cap?
