The image of Shaun Teale sat bolt upright celebrating after scoring is one of my favourite Villa images.

My favourite game - remember getting in and my Mum asking if I'd been on the pitch. The Holte was epic.

See this is why I really want a pitch invasion tomorrow. I know it's illegal and makes us look small time but I missed the semi-final in 2010 so I've never been on the pitch before and it looks amazing.

I'd forgotten their last minute freekick where they hit the inside of the post. I do remember turning the TV off when Richardson missed his and shouting down "That's it, we are out" as I couldn't face the last penalty. Then I came downstairs, my mum flicked the TV over and Daley was walking up to take his.

It's a toss up as to the loudest game i've ever been to, that or the Inter Milan game under Atkinson.

I still have the skid marks in my pants from the second leg.

Definitely.

But I can't see any of our current crop putting their head in against a boot to score.

At. Madrid at home was the best.

The atmosphere on the Holte was unreal that day. Anyone remember why it was played on a Sunday and not midweek?

Never tire of watching that game. What an atmosphere.

I was at Rotterdam, and Wembley in 75, 77, 94, and 2000.I was at Highbury when we won the league, and at VP when we beat Lplop 5-1, but for some reason the Tranmere game is still my favourite Villa game.

Pretty much ditto for me less Wembley 75, this is my favourite game with the Arsenal Father Christmas game a close second.

Neither of you went in '96?

I was on Her Majestys Service in the jungles of South America.
To busy chopping trees down to follow the Villa. No excuse Jon ;)

Same here, I was Upper Holte for Blackburn but it looked absolutely fantastic.
I remember my Dad had this on video. I can never remember seeing Shaun Teale playing live in a Villa shirt, but I'll never forget his name or the moustache. I used to pretend to be Bozzie every night for about 3 weeks after seeing this video

There are plenty of other ways of getting on the pitch. FootballAid, for example. I took part in this a few years ago and loved every second of it.

In recent memory, the Leicester Semi was the only one without any real incident or excitement. Even the Bolton one had us close to winning it on away goals with our chances but wayward finishing cost us. Let us all hope that is not the case tomorrow.
