Never tire of watching that game. What an atmosphere.

I was at Rotterdam, and Wembley in 75, 77, 94, and 2000.I was at Highbury when we won the league, and at VP when we beat Lplop 5-1, but for some reason the Tranmere game is still my favourite Villa game.

Thanks for sharing Leeg, but now you've got me worried about who would be taking our penalties tomorrow!

Bannan, Benteke, Vlaar... who else?

Pretty much ditto for me less Wembley 75, this is my favourite game with the Arsenal Father Christmas game a close second.

It just edges out the first Inter Milan game as my favourite ever Villa match.  As a game it had it all and the atmosphere inside Villa Park was unreal.  Being born in 1980, the fact that it meant I would be seeing Villa in a Wembley final for the first time just topped it all off really.  The final wasn't too bad either!!

And Tranmere is still my favourite game purely for the drama.

Tranmere game was fantastic. I was in the Witton, or Doug stand with the rest of Cannock Villa and waited for hours for my Final ticket.
Was at Wembley with all of Cannock Villa for that game. Special mention to Custard Beast, Steve, who was DJ at Wimbelbery Rock club. UTV.
