Decent crowd yesterday but who would have thought Southampton would bring so many?

They brought more yesterday than they had brought in the previous 20 years combined.

Part time wankers.

When they built that new crap stadium they seemed to gain another 15,000 fans, they must have dug them up with the foundations or something.

We are creating chances, not taking them but we are creating them.

They fancied themselves for a win pure and simple so they all came up to see it.

After all, we've given them their best results of the season.

There are still 18 days left to buy a few experienced, half-decent players to bolster our squad and provide some leadership on the pitch.

That's essentially the only hope now, but we can't afford to throw away games in the meantime. They should have been signed for yesterday.

The biggest positive is that cash-strapped fans will never get a better chance to give up their Villa habit, than right now.

Delph might  yet prove an asset, he was our best player for the third game in a row.

he was great yesterday .    The only one mind.

St Mary's holds 32,000 and The Dell had a capacity of 15,000, so it's not too difficult to see where the extra fans have come from. Plus, it's hardly a crap stadium.

Saving loads of time by not watching Match of the Day

This.

I reckon I've watched it about a dozen times in the last three years.

I also hardly ever bother reading the sports sections of newspapers any more, too, and spend more time on the culture and, err, actual news sections.

None whatsoever.  We have just lost two home league games to near rivals without scoring, suffered a record defeat and conceded three goals from corners to a FOURTH DIVISION team. The only positive thing to say is that there are only 16 more league games and two cup matches to endure before this car-crash , miserable wreck of a season finishes.

I still haven't watched anything from the Bradford game.

Are there any positives at the moment?

Yes. There are three.
We still have  a beautiful stadium.
We don't have AML as  manager.
And we war a shirt with a nice shade of claret.
