Player caught again for pissed up driving without a licence?
« on: January 09, 2013, 10:28:58 AM »
I was told last night that one of our players, currently banned for drunk driving, has been nicked again on the same charge.

Any truth in this?

How many have we got banned? If its the true and its the high profile one, then i can't possibly see how the club could keep him.

Smells like bulls**t to me. Can't imagine he'd have been selected if true.

I would have thought that drink driving while serving a ban for the same offence carries a fair risk of a spell inside.

That's true. Still, if it is true, it's a totally indefensible breach, and the club should sever the contract.

As Damo says, if true almost certain to end up in chokey anyway.

If true, make them be a crash test dummy for some drinking driving test.

If true, throw the book at him.

Unless of course he's a good defender, if which case cover it up, blame somebody else and sweep it under the carpet.

Well it's not Bannan anyway.

There was some kind of joke circulating where there was a Range Rover crashed and they said it was him.
