The quicker we rid ourselves (and wage bill) of Given, Ireland, Dunne, Hutton, Zog, Warnock and Ireland the better. There must be the thick end of 300k a week getting thrown down the drain in that lot. A disgrace

But.......if we want some quality in the squad, we would still need to be spending a huge percentage of that 300k.

I really like Lowton.

Best- Benteke

Worst- Benetek

And I'm not messing around, he has been unplayable in half the games, yet absolutely terrible in the others.
Hopefully by the end of the season he will have found his consistency.

Another thing, KEA was great for about 2 months, then terrible there after, not much difference to Benteke overall really.

We NEED experience from this league.

True, but I'd prefer monkeys that put a shift in

Best - Guzan. Shout outs for Benteke and Weimann, too.

Worst - take your pick. Delph, KEA, Bennett have all struck me as offering very, very little indeed.

Lowton because I think he has been the most consistant.

No hoper KEA, I just dont think he is good enough at this level.

Best Guzan (by a nose from Benteke) both excellent
Worst KEA (by a nose from Ireland) both useless and then some.

Best for me probably Guzan ahead of Benteke and Weimann because of consistency.

I'm not sure why some people rate Lowton so highly as he looks ok but pretty ordinary to me, or Clark, as he gets caught out an awful lot - but the one who has looked most out of his depth for me so far has been Bennett.  It would be unfair to label him a no-hoper until he gets more of a run, but at the moment to me he looks like a schoolboy who has wandered on to the pitch.

I think he's had a lot of injury problems , once Bennett gets a few games under his belt and gets his match fitness I think he will be a decent player, he was injured when he signed, has been suspended and also had two long lay offs with a knee injury- lets hope now his problems are behind him.
