Half season player of season and no hoper of half season

Who is this very up and down season been at mid way point player of season and mis fit no hoper?

Player of season I am going to go for Westwood, I just think this guy given 2 seasons will be a top class player

No hoper - Ngzobia - Utter disaster of a signing

Player of half season, it's a tough call between Benteke and Guzan. I'll say Guzan despite the last two games.

No Hoper- Again tough, i don't think anyone has been terribly awful but i'll go for N'Zogbia.

Best for me is a toss up between Westwood (most surprising), Benteke (most exciting) and Guzan (most consistent).

As for worst, I've been very disapointed in KEA.

I came very very close to picking Gabby. His goals in the Cup and up at Sunderland saved him but he's nowhere near the player he can be.

Very hard to separate Westwood, Benteke, Lowton, Weimann and Guzan. Would have to go with Guzan as I think the others have been (understandably) not 100% consistent.

Not sure who to pick as worst as there are mitigating circumstances in most cases, I'd pick KEA as most disappointing as he looked very good pre-season. The lad has talent though so I back him to come good sooner or later.

2nd worst on my list as well, hugely dissappointed with him yet again , never been anywhere near his best form since o Neill left

What does 'no-hoper' even mean?

The player who has played the worst? The player you don't think should play? The player who hasn't played at all?

Could Dunne have realistically been expected to do anything more?

Best - Benteke (with Guzan a very close 2nd)
Worst - Ireland (just isn't the player we wanted or needed, has had enough chances for me and has never taken charge)
Most improved (added because he deserves a mention) - Weimann (has gone from 4th choice to regular starter)

While  we are here I might as well nominate Weimann for the goal of the season award at Liverpool- cant see anyone scoring a better one unless benteke snatches the Wembley winner in injury time .
