Cross could do little else than be a bit part in the wankfest.

Taylor is happy to tell the world that the PDC would not exisit without him (he right, but does he need to continually bang on about it?) so Cross as the newboy has little choice but to bow down to the convicted sex attacker.

Also Taylor was happy to let his ego be massaged as oppose to stepping back and letting Cross enjoy his moment.

You may have guessed i am not of fan of Taylor.

I like this tournament because they sometimes end up throwing about six darts at double one just like nearly every darts game I've ever played.

I've had it on in the background while I work. The only real reason I look round is when I hear the scores come in... "12", "33", "28"... There have been occasions when I swear they hit the right double almost entirely by accident... Although, in fairness, the match on at the moment - De Vos v. Telnekes - has been comparatively decent.

The saving grace is that at least Channel 4 have been fairly honest that this is "the shit darts World Championship" and that it's all about the Lakeside / tradition etc...

It's like comparing the Premier League to Non-League but then thats the charm for me.

Good job 'cos there's some dude on at the moment and if he isn't three parts pissed I dunno who is.

I've struggled to get into the Premier League Darts this season. Partly the feeling that MVG will cruise it and also RVB waining this year. Also don't enjoy the stand in players. Should have just picked another player, rather than alternating each week.

Gerwyn Price seems a bit hot headed. Fancied Gurney to go o and be a World Champion, but hasn't quite fulfilled his potential yet.

It’s that time of year again. Anybody’s call who wins this time.

RVB out, that's him retired. Cross gone, too. Knocked out by World punching above his weight Champion Kim Huybrechts. Although Sky coverage broke so they missed it!

Can't see anyone stopping MVG.

Fallon Sherrock becomes the first woman to beat a man at the World Championship. She was excellent.
