Milner by a distance.

I agree with Mr Eastie. We won't sign any of them though.

How about re-signing goal machine Heskey?

Milner - Barry is past it, we've seen the best of Young and Downing can fuck right off.

Milner. By a mile.

He's the one we sold who we miss the most.

The current team could do with Barry or Milner. Good all round centre midfielders are few and far between.

I personally miss Young the most. He was the one who excited me most. Whenever he had the ball he drove at players with it. Again, good wingers like him are difficult to find

Never really that bothered about Downing.

I would generally agree with the majority in that i would take Milner back without a doubt. Just his industry around the park would be a great boost to the side but i also would not right off Barry....he probably has a couple of years left playing in upper echelons of game. I think he would relish the thought of coming back to Villa where he could help bringing the younger element of our midfield through - you can never knock what he gave the club and there is still a lot of affection for AVFC....i know he has been supportive to Stan but there is more to it than that there is this love for club...his wife is a Brummie and i daresay she would like to at some stage 'come home'. Why not January!!!!
After all we had 'Sid' back time and time again and he never let us down.

Milner by a distance.  It amazes me that Barry continually gets picked ahead of him.

Probably WW but, as long as we are playing the game, James Milner by a country mile.

He would change the dynamic of that midfield in a chuffing heartbeat.

Not that his heart beats of course. It chants and roars (I miss that thread!).
