I wouldn't mind if a goal was cheered/applauded/clapped, no problem, if they got abusive then chuck them out.  I always thought it would add to the atmosphere if everyone was in together singing songs etc.

I agree with this view.

We do not sell out and that givces open book to sell tickets up to the day of the game

Most of the "Reds" in the stands will either be

Local glory hunters with Birmingham accents
Actual Villa fans who have glory hunting mates
Actual villa fans who have glory hunting kids
Football tourists - who come to see United

Whichever one they are the only way to even attempt to stop them is to sell all our tickets ourselves.

Once they are in unless for their own safety or others safety it is difficult to remove them unless they actually do something wrong. If they are attempting to wear colours then they are told to remove / cover them up - failure to do so is an instant ejection. If any supporter causes an incident or trouble at any time when either team score then they to would be ejected under ground safety - if bad language or offensive gestures are used then they would also potentially be arrested.

Yes, we could all throw our hats in the air if a goal went in and celebrate with a Woodbine or a pipe and smile like retards with severely bad dental hygiene into a Pathe cine camera.

It ain't going to happen.

I hate having them near me, they make my skin crawl

Unfortunately my seat in the Upper Witton is now right next to them!

Not really looking forward to this one!

I think getting rid of fan segregation would cause far more problems than it solves, and would most likely worsen the atmosphere at games. In my view, it's fine the way it is.

we don't have to throw them out......just annoys me that they are not Villa fans.....and of course the childish part of me wants them to be asked to leave.

Just can't help it

The childish part of me wants them to get a damn good kicking.

A few years ago I sat in the Charlton end for a match. When we were sussed out as Villa fans we were met with 'Why don't you go sit with your own lot' (amongst worse, lots of silly posturing). To which i replied with 'Our section was sold out, whereas it was easy enough getting a ticket here with you lot'

Simple matter was that if they had sold all of their tickets I wouldn't have been able to get a ticket in the home end.

Sadly, the same logic must follow here

It seems to work perfectly well at Fulham....in their neutral section.

Can't ever remember seeing any issues there

It once kicked off really badly in there when some bloke claimed he preferred generic New World Shiraz to second-rate estate-bottled Bordeaux.

Claret everywhere

Brilliant.

i have nothing against Cockernees.  Just as long as they are respectful during the game.  I have sat in the wrong end at Everton, Liverpool, United, as they were opportunities to watch my team.  its tough though, you cant celebrate when you score, and its shite when they do

I get the same feeling from standing near Tories.

Actually, no I don't because that would be stupid, as is saying that a fellow football fan who happens to support a different team makes your skin crawl.

Ironically in the dark days of football violence it did happen - it was usually ok to sit in the seats and openly celebrate.

I guess all seater stadia have changed the mind set and seats are not now considered de facto neutral or neutralish areas.
