If United join Spurs and Liverpool in being knocked out tonight, it's been perfect with the draw in mind.

I'd prefer Chelsea out, they tend to play a stronger side than the Mancs do.

True, but if we somehow do get to the final, it's likely we'll be playing the winner of this game, and I do not want another United final.

I wouldn't want Chelsea in the final, would bring far too many repressed memories of a game that never took place.

Oh god I hadn't even thought of... that.

At least the very worst possibility is impossible as of last night. Sunderland in the final with MON winning parading the trophy in front of the Villa end, with "2010" painted on his back.

That day was horribly depressing.

It was miles more deflating than coming out of the CC final.

Because knowing our luck, it would have P.Dowd next to where it says Referee in the programme.

I trod in horse shit on the way back to the station. It kind of topped off the day.

Will this mean our game with Reading on the 27th is rearranged?

The worst day of my 35+ years supporting Villa. Way worse than the Wednesday game that relegated us.

What got me with the CC final wasn't that we lost. It was that I genuinely believed we could win. The realisation the best Villa side I'm likely to see for a long time was still so irrelevant compared to Man U was the hardest bit to take.

Bradford away, I'd like. We play with a bit less fear when we aren't at home of late.

True, but I fear we're one of them.

Looking at teams left some are going to get peach of a draw and head for the semi. I don't know whether I want to face Chelsea or Arsenal now or face them  in the semi..... I think now ill be better.
