His view and he' welcome to it. I suspect he plucked Villa off the top of his head and has been informed of offence taken by this. Frankly I'd prefer him to stick to his guns if thats' what he believes rather than issue an insincere apology.

The thing that makes me smile at this story is that looking around the web, Rangers supporters really think that the rest of the world cares more about them than us, and that they (and Celtic, which is almost as laughable) would be a shoe-in for a European league. They can get as many 40,000 gates as they like but the fact is that nobody outside their own supporters could care less about either of them.
