Bones,

Losing 3-0 at Fellows Park in 1970-71 was one of my early introductions into how shit life could be as a Villa fan.

Filbert st away in 1981 was one of the very best ever, anywhere.

This like swapping stickers as a kid. got, got, got, got...

don't care that I haven't been to any particular ground to be honest. Although, and its still there, I've never been to Anfield.

My main memory of Elm Park is of their fans in the main stand coming down to the front by the side of the pitch to smoke at half time. This was post Bradford, so presumably the stand was wooden.

And us winning 2-0 of course ( Thompson and Birch I think).

That was a crazy celebration when Garry Thompson put the ball, the goalkeeper, and himself in the back of the net, sitting on the wall that ran along the back of the away end it was like watching the tide go out as everyone dissapeared towards the pitch.
