Sponsors for current squad members.
« on: October 01, 2012, 01:40:28 PM »
I heard on the radio at the weekend that Umbro have withdrawn from a £4million a year sponsorship deal with John Terry. :'(
This has got thinking about who we could have sponsoring our players.
I'll start the ball rolling with three of the more obvious ones and then it's up to our more creative members to come up with the rest.
Richard Dunne      Pukka Pies.
Brett Holman          Duracell.  He just never seems to run out of energy.
Ron Vlaar               Blue Circle Cement.

It will be interesting to see what happens to JT once his big paydays come to an end. It's said that his gambling debts have been bought up by a very well-known faaaaaaaaaamily business in North London.

I do hope you're right about his alleged gambling debts. I can't see any organisation wanting to be associated with JT. Not one that pays him mega bucks anyway.

To think that mug earns around £200K per week yet he has to gamble - just what is the matter with these players?

Look at someone like Denis Irwin, i hate United but he had a long career, never in pubs / front pages and he must have earned a fotune - now career over he must just sit back and really enjoy the best things in life

Pricks like Merson / Terry Et al deserve everything they get for their excesses

Gambling's pretty big among premier league players isn't it?  Comes of having more money than you know what to do with.
