If someone insists "he's not a trouble maker" that probably means he is either in his or his teamates' opinions.

Absolutely - it's like countries that include 'democratic' in their official name, they're generally anything but democratic.
We should take a vote on that

Irrespective of what he's said, there has to be something else behind the scenes. Two managers have completely dumped him. And as a premier league player that still has something to offer in terms of years left, he's been literally ignored by the entire league as a permanent transfer. Lambert came in willing to give players a chance yet within weeks had seen enough or heard enough to consider him surplus to requirements.

Maybe he just is not good enough and for a brief period MON did what he did best which was make a terrible player look half decent. After his injury and he was rushed back he then could not raise his game to that level again.

Like others have said though for him to keep battling after that QPR game does show he has some guts about him.

Can't feel too sorry for him. He was tapped up by Bolton last season (see end of Villa Park highlights where Owen Coyle consoles Warnock). The only reason he didn't go there was because they were relegated. Still didn't stop him going there on loan.

Always gave his all, just a shame that his all wasn't very good.

Not even when he made those horrendous gaffes last season?

As others have said two managers have completely ostracised him, I'm sure for some reason(s). I also cannot see Lambert coming in and not giving anyone a fair crack of the whip, though maybe he saw enough during our horror show at Carrow Rd last season. I think we are well rid of him, now if only we could find a home for the other one......

Lambert had a look at Warnock in preseason, I think that was enough! From what I saw he was worse than last season.

I'm sure the truth will come out once he's finally off the books.

Out of the two omnishambles to have recently managed us, Houllier's Villa diary would be the most interesting.

TSM seems to be serialising his already, and it should be in the fantasy section anyway. The knob.

Sorry, this relates to Silhillvilla's post about the truth coming out, in case you were wondering.

For every mistake he made, I always felt he gave 100%, plenty of other players hid away over the last 2 seasons but I never felt he did.

I think he did a lot of hiding and not giving 100%.
He ambled his way through games, showed no hunger or desire, very much went through the motions as if his job was a chore and he couldnt wait to head home up the M6.

As someone who is aware of Warnocks rant, just because he wouldn't move to within half an hour of his workplace.. To then slag my city off! He responded by playing fuckin shite. One goal against Bolton would never be enough.. Hate the ****** with a passion.

I think best for both parties that he has gone and won't come back.

MON's diary, May to August 2010 would be an interesting read too.
