Away tickets/booking history
« on: September 26, 2012, 12:00:49 AM »
Hi chaps, apologies for the slightly dull subject matter. I've got a decent away booking history but obviously that means I can only get away tickets for myself. I was looking to go to a few games down here in London but I go on my tod and fancy bringing a pal.

My mrs has a separate booking ref I can use but she's not done any away games, however when I was on the phone getting tickets a while back the lady in the ticket office said they'll usually give you away ticket if they can see you've been to a few games. Is she talking rubbish or is that possible? If not what ways can I get hold of an extra away ticket without dragging my mrs to Wigan of a Saturday?

Any PMs welcome also  8)

I usually borrow someone's reference if I need a ticket for someone whose booking history lags behind mine. I have some real life friends I can ask, but our imaginary friends on here are usually pretty helpful too if it's a game they're not going to. It boosts their booking history too so it's a win/win (although probably not fully legal)

Join your nearest Lions club.

They usually get an allocation of tickets for away games although it maybe restricted for premium fixtures. Not sure if this will improve your booking history but it will increase your chances of getting a ticket for you and a pal.

Are these the same Lions Club that are listed on the AVFC site? Is anyone here in the London ones?

Join up with the Kingston Lions. There's usually a good turnout and some decent pub sessions before and after London games.

Simple to join, just hand over all of your personal data to Kingthing who then clones your identity to fund his own lavish lifestyle. It's like a cross betwen the Communist party and the Moonies. Once you join there's no escape.
