As some of us pointed out on Saturday when others were reaching for the razor blades, this season is going to see a lot of ups and downs, but it's going to be entertaining along the way. Swansea and tonight don't make us a top 6 side, same as Everton and Saints results don't make us a bottom 3 side. We're a work in progress but unless they are blind surely people can see a massive change in us already and we're only 7 games in under Lambert. Be patient and enjoy the ride.

Quite right. We're going to have some really, really up and down results this season. Losing 4-1 at Southampton (four goals shipped in 40 minutes), then three days later winning 4-2 at Man City is exactly the sort of thing I mean.On the down side, that means a lot of duff days when we're going to struggle, like last Saturday. One the up side, we're trying to change things, we're behind what the manager wants to do, and we're at least not going to be bored shitless like we were last season.Interesting times.
A rollercoaster without ups and downs is just a minature railway.
