I would put Holman ahead of N'Zogbia.

I'm curious to see how we play, because I don't think it'll be 4-4-2 from the way Lambert wants to play but we are going to have to accommodate two strikers.

Zog doesn't even deserve a place on the bench at the moment

No one has pick Weimann even as a sub!

A similar thing with Baker (who should be CB with Clark suspended)

Clark will be available for selection tomorrow.  He was only suspended for one game and that game was Tranmere.

If Dunne is fit, he should be playing IMHO.

My team would be;

                   Given
Lowton - Vlaar - Baker - Bennett
      KEO - Westward - Delph
                 Holman
             Bent - Benteke

He's my third choice striker I think and the one who will pressure the main two if they don't start scoring. He needs to feature in a lot of games this season, whether as a sub or starting when Benteke needs a rest.

Guzan

Lowton
Ron
Dunne
Bennett

Ireland
KEA
Westwood

Holman
Bent
Gabby

I'd play the three in midfield together without Ireland being in an advanced role. IMO he needs to be facing the way we play more, when he plays too far forward he gets the ball with his back to goal too much and should be deeper where he can orchestrate things better and see forward passes.

I think Holman has to be chosen ahead of N'Zogbia.

This.

I think:

Given
Lowton
Bennett
Vlaar
Dunne
KEA
Westwood
Ireland
Gabby
Benteke
Bent

Subs: Guzan, Baker, Lichaj, Delph, N'Zog, Holman, Bowery

This but Holman for Westwood would be mine. And I think we might go a bit route 1 and put the pressure on them. Weimann in on the Bench for Delph too. Don't need him and Westwood on the bench.

Can I also point out the importance of this game. Swansea at home, for the second season in a row, comes at the most opportune time. Last season we beat Chelsea away and then were meekly battered by Swansea at VP and spurned the chance to kick on. This season, a win and we can take that confidence into the Southamption game and hopefully get 4-6 points out of the 2 games and show what we are all about. Massive game for the same reason as last. Different manager, different mentality. Lets hope a different response.
