Bad news, he has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee - out for 8-9 months!  Gutted for him :-(

Yeah, the dreaded ACL injury. That's really disappointing for him.

Does he live in a house full of black cats and broken mirrors? Bloody hell. Gutted for him. It's such an important age for him as a footballer too. This will really effect his development.

Interesting article on the OS about how Gary's recovery is coming along.

Wilshere's performance tonight after 15 months out kinda gives hope that Gary will fulfill his potential. His attitude has always been spot-on judging from the interviews he gives.

His attitude always seems exceptional in interviews. I think he could be a big player for us still, and give Lambert an option he doesn't have at the moment. Get him in there with Westwood and Sylla or Delph, who has been really impressive of late.

If we go down, the biggest frustration is how close we are to being a really really good team, we have some very good players that when we get our confidence up you can see playing really well.

Can't wait see this fella back properly next season. Hopefully he can stay injury free and make a real impact in the game.

He has the sort of presence we've been lacking, and (potentially) provides plenty of drive in midfield. I also think he struggled with McLeish's style. He could flourish with how Lambert wants to play.

He needs a run in the team. He is different to what we currently have. Big things are expected.

Must say I like what he says about Ron Vlaar. That's exactly the sort of character we need, and what a skipper should be doing. He's not been great on the pitch obviously, but if he improves and gets a decent partner next season, he could yet be a key player for us in the next few years.
