Steven Norman Davis.
« on: August 02, 2012, 06:57:13 PM »
My dad, life long Villa fan and most amazing man you would ever meet, lost his short, struggle with Leukemia today, he was 62. He was only told 2 weeks ago yesterday. He had AML which is the most aggressive form. I had a nice moment with him as we was as we was rushing him to Intensive care, I looked at him as he was struggling to breathe and talk (the most heart breaking thing I have ever seen) and just looked at him and said come on dad it's not that bad, and he replied as if nothing was wrong, I know son, I could be a Birmingham City Fan. That will be with me forever and I will never forget that!

RIP Dad I know we aren't that strong at the moment, but over time we will get there, thank you for everything you mean the world to me and I will never forget you.

All my love Andy.

Clearly a witty and interesting man, sounds like you were lucky to have him as a Dad.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Thanks for all the replies really does mean a lot he was a remarkable man and the fact he had a PHD makes it DR Davis ;) (only making a joke Dave, don't take it the wrong way) I just can't believe he's gone, he use to love reading this site, and going to be so weird not after a game calling him to talk about what's happened etc.

So sorry to hear about your Dad, I lost my Dad when he was 69 to cancer, try and think happy thoughts of your time together, I know exactly how you are feeling but in time it will get easier.
Take care.

Condolences from all Villains in Lanzarote.

A sad day for all you and your family and for all who knew him.

R.I.P and watch the Villa from the best seat in the house.

Safe journey.
