Apparently he had the operation yesterday afternoon (4th).  It will take up to 9 months rehabilitation to strengthen his knees back up.  Good luck, Gary.

A lot of people on here saying that El Ahmadi's been injured playing for Morocco? Terrible news if so, but at least we have a large squad now as opposed to last season.

We still have Chris Herd don't we? Whatever happened to him, he was brilliant in holding midfield last season - he'd be my choice to fill in for him.

My little brother went into the barbers the other week asking them if they could make him look like Chris Herd but he came out a cross between Paul Heaton circa 1986 and Shaun Ryder 1989. The teachers in school liked it, his peers took the piss.

I've pretty much got Herd's haircut at the moment, now you mention it.

I thought that Herd was one of the few players who could hold his head up after last season. Deserves to play more IMO and not out wide!

Does anyone know anything about the KEA injury though?

His injury isn't listed on the physio room for some reason. From what people said at the time, it sounded quite serious so he'll probably miss the next couple of games at least.

Apparently the chicks dig it.  In general, not sure about your version.

From the official twitter:

Joe Bennett, Stephen Ireland and Karim El Ahmadi should all be fit for tomorrow's game at Fulham. However there will be a late fitness test for Ciaran Clark.

Nowhere near as bad as we thought then! :)

Well there's not much else for options really.

Not sure how Clark will fare against Berbatov's movement tbh.
