Bremen is a decent city, and the ground is pretty smart too. I am in Bremen at least a few days each month due to having to visit head-office and I think you will find Bremen to be a rather interesting place. Home of Becks! Some great bars and restaurants and they are in the process of transforming the old docks into a "new modern facility" i.e; more restaurants, retail outlets and fancy apartments.

Only problem would be with flights. Them fuckers at Ryan Air swallowed up all the direct flights from Birmingham, East Mids and Luton and now you will only be able to fly direct from Stanstead.

Ryanair don't have any flights that weekend. I was thinking about going, but travel seems to be a nightmare!

No flights? Ryan Air are cocks! It always proper annoys me when we are just about to take off, and some annoying fuckwit says over the intercom "We thank you for choosing to fly with Ryan Air"... I didn't choose you, i had no choice you bastards because you swallowed up all of the competition!

I think my mate will be running a coach. Premier Entertainments, I presume most of you will know Goughy. He's already on the case.

My great-Uncle used to go to Bremen quite a lot, with work, sometimes several times a month. Although he was several thousand feet above it, and dropping bombs on it, so he didn't get to see much of it.

Never heard of him  -;). Is Goughie running a coach or doing a flight do you know?  I know someone who may be interested in going by coach.

We've just booked our flights.  Sure sign someone is feeling better.

Gebre Selassie ITSOTP!
Did you fall asleep on your keyboard?!

Tried to be funny since he was linked with Villa or at least wanted by folks here. Maybe I should've written ITWSOTP.

Looks like Bremen Airport's runway is closed from 6th to 11th of August so no flights are going in or out.

Next nearest is probably Hamburg.

Just saw that on GermanWings

Due to the reconstruction of the runways at Bremen Airport no Germanwings flights will operate from or to Bremen from 6th to 11th August 2012.

You can fly direct to Hamburg from Brum for around £125 return

Train is 40 euro return from Hamburg to Bremen takes just over an hour

Friendlies can sometimes be made as part of a transfer deal. I wonder...?

Dunne would probably like a player called Florian Trinks
