You really expect him to reveal anything like that at a kit launch?

Why not?  A captive audience.  He could always laugh it off! My point is about the crap interview, not necessarily about transfers. Waited for 20 minutes for that shite.

It's Jack Woodwank. What were you expecting?

Jack's a nice bloke but there's a reason that he's not pushing for Jeremy Paxman's job

Jack has mastered asking the same mundane questions over and over again in a different way. He actually never asks anything at all in the end.

I bumped into Jack Woodhall or whatever his name is before the opening game against Blackburn last season. I shook his hand and say hello, and he promised to put my name on his AVTV match-day report or whatever but never did.

So I confirm that he is, indeed, a wanker.

Ok home now but Paul Lambert came onto the stage (eventually) and a huge round of applause.

There's only one Paul Lambert
There's only one Paul Lambert

To which he replied "Wait till a ball beens kicked"

Cue laughter. The guy came off as really pleasant, genuinely happy to be here and can't wait to get started. Amazingly the sun came out round about he time he came on!

A sign of things to come surely.

Yes but that response of appreciation to him, is merely through sheer relief that McCleish has gone , not that he has done anything yet.

I have just seen that the Parma shirt has all the names of their season ticket holders on it. Great move.

Birmingham do a similar thing with a beer mat

Paul Lambert is on in a bit and a Fire Engine is here showing kids round. Pork and stuffing bap is £3.50.  :)

Jaysus - £1.80 in Cov market.

Just because they call it a pork bap (in Cov) doesn't mean that it is pork.

Peter Withe and Pat Heard just did a Q&A with JW. The whole place is buoyant.
