Quite a few Newcastle fans are in meltdown over Ashley's purchase of House Of Fraser (Forever now to be known as House Of Shite) claiming he's spent 90million of the clubs money buying it and should have been spending it on new players in the window. Ha ha how we all laughed.

Feel for Rafa and the fans the man's a disgrace.

They can both fucking whistle dixie as far as I'm concerned.

But not too loudly. I remember when Randy Lerner bought a new plane and there was apoplexy because he hadn't spent the money on players.

All I can recall is some people on here turning into 'Randy's Plane Spotters Club'.

Odd when they've got Allen.

My postie just told me Ian Culverhouse is on one of his new rounds. I had no idea he was manager at Grantham Town.

I really wish we could get the full scoop on what went on at Villa in the Lerner years.

Don't worry. Lambert will soon fall off the managerial merry-go-round once and for all and have a book to flog.

Middlesbrough signed Jon Obi Mikel - a classic Pulis signing. If he's still got legs he'll do a job but he's not exactly going to get them more goals. I guess they'll be there or thereabouts...

PSG have bid 21.5m for Idrissa Gueye. Tim Sherwood will take credit for him now.

The truth is both Gana and Veretout are very decent players that could have been a focus of our midfield for years to come. Our club was an utter mess and wasted another opportunity. Wrong time, very wrong manager, wrong owner and board. Just fucking wrong in so many ways.

Yep.

When a club is really struggling at all those levels, good players soon become bad ones.

Hull are going to sign free agent Liam Ridgewell (34).

I decided to check on his appearances for the three West Midlands clubs he played for.

Villa 79 apps
Small Heath 152 apps
Albion 76 apps

Newcastle have signed a midfielder - Miguel Almiron - maybe freeing up Hayden for transfer?

I know they were waiting for a replacement to come in first but I don't think he was first choice - however will free up a move if we're really interested.
