Words seem so inadequate in a situation like this... such a tremendous loss.  So sorry for your loss, and saying a prayer for Owen and all of your family & friends.

Thank you all so much from my wife and from myself for all your comments. You have given us condolence and strength, to feel that there are so many people all around the world who care. I always said Villa fans were the best in the world, and everyone here has proven how true that is. Again, thank you all, Owen would be proud.

Dave, I don't know you from Adam but right now I'm thinking about you and your family and your loss.  I hope time will be a healer for you and your family.  Very brave of you posting and I hope it's helped in some small way.

I'm so sorry Dave.

You didn't have enough time together, but I've no doubt the time you did have was full of fun and love.

I hope you can take whatever comfort you can here and wherever else it's offered.

As a Father myself Davd,  you take for granted that you will see them grow and flourish. I cannot imagine what you have been through.

At these times we all say Rest in Peace, but lets hope his kicking around with a caser  in the beloved Claret and Blue.

We are attempting to raise some money over 2013 in Owens memory to go to Asthma UK  towards asthma awareness particularly within schools. One of our first activities is going to be a 10K run and other things will be happening across the year - Russell at Villa has already offered to donate some Villa tickets.

This is just for information. New thread will be posted later.

There are no words just a shared sense of loss. Heartfelt condolances from one father to another. I will send him a prayer next home game from the Holte.
